The friend of missing British teenager Jay Slater has revealed more details of the pair's final phone call before he disappeared, claiming he had cut his leg on a 'cactus'.
Jay, 19, from Lancashire, has been missing in Tenerife since Monday morning after attending the New Rave Generation festival with friends on the island.
His friend Lucy Law was the last person to speak to the teen before his disappearance, revealing he phoned her at around 8.00am on 17 June to tell her he was 'in the middle of nowhere' and had only one percent battery left on his phone.

Lucy has now revealed further details from her final phone call with Jay, claiming he had cut his leg on a cactus.
Speaking to Sky News, Lucy - who had been attending the festival with Jay - said he rang her to say he 'didn't know where he was', that he 'needed a drink' and had 'cut his leg on a cactus'.
She claims he was also able to send her a photo of his location before the battery on his phone died.

Lucy went on to add that Jay is 'not a stupid boy' and would've tried to get in contact with his family if he'd been able to.
"If he'd seen somebody, or a car, he would have flagged down the car - he would have said he needed a phone to contact someone," she said.
"If he saw someone, the first thing he would do is say 'I need to ring my mum' - I know that for a fact. He would never ever have his mum worrying like this.
"It's just awful - I've never in my life been so worried."

Searches have been ongoing in his last known location - National Park of Teno - which is a popular hiking spot on the north-west of the island. Authorities have also been searching in the areas of Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas on the south coast, which is where the teen had been staying.
Lucy has since been able to track down the house Jay had visited that night, where she said the residents told her that Jay had decided to head home in the early hours of the morning after stepping out for a cigarette.
Jay has been reported to be wearing a grey t-shirt, black bag, shorts and trainers at the time of his disappearance.

Lucy also revealed her concerns about Jay being out in a mountainous area at night without 'suitable clothing', adding: "It's very warm in the day and very cold at night.
"So in the day he's going to be really warm without a drink, and then at night he's going to be very cold without any suitable clothing."
Meanwhile Jay's mother has since revealed she believes her son has been taken against his will, telling PA: "I think he’s been taken against his will with what’s been said, but it’s in the hands of the police."
