The mother of missing British teenager Jay Slater has issued a new update on her son's case as the fundraiser reaches a new milestone.
Jay, 19, from Oswaldtwistle in Lancashire, vanished in the morning of Monday 17 June after attending a festival with friends on the island of Tenerife over the weekend.
The teenager was last heard from early on that Monday morning via a phone call to his friends, with his last known location to be in the Masca region of the island.

As the search now nears its third week, Jay's mother Debbie Duncan has issued a new statement via the family's GoFundMe page, revealing she was overwhelmed 'by the kindness and support' as the fundraiser surpasses £50,000 in donations.
"Hello everyone, I wanted to give you all an update on our continued efforts to find our Jay," she wrote, before providing an update on how the search for her son is going.
"We have been overwhelmed by the kindness and support we have received and would like to thank the local hiking group for all of their help planning the routes to find our Jay. We have been contacted by a wonderful group of locals who have volunteered to continue the search.

"While they don’t wish to accept financial help for their search, we will be supporting them with supplies and are so grateful for their willingness to help."
She continued: "We also continue to be contacted by experienced groups offering to support our search. We are busy talking to them about what they can do to assist. But in order for us to employ their help, they need to have permission from the Spanish authorities."
Debbie concluded the message by thanking everyone for their continued support and asking everyone to continue supporting their fundraiser however they can.

Jay's case has received a huge amount of media attention online, with several volunteers flying out to the island to aid with the search.
The police officially ended their search in the north-west of the island on 30 June due to the difficulties of the terrain in the location, however the investigation into his case continues.
Meanwhile Jay's family have since vowed to keep on searching the island for the teenager.
Spanish police have confirmed the family will be allowed to continue searching the rural National Park of Teno region, on the condition that they inform authorities of any findings for 'for good management of information and resources'.
