A lad who was caught in an attempt to join the 'mile high club' on an EasyJet flight had to spend hundreds of pounds after the airline wouldn't let him board a return flight.
Piers Sawyer had been on a flight to Ibiza when he was caught in flagrante with a woman he had only just met in the aircraft's toilets by flight attendants.
Sawyer revealed that he had been drinking since 10am before the EasyJet flight from Luton to Ibiza at 7pm on 8 September. He met the unnamed woman on the flight and they got talking.

He told The Sun in an exclusive interview: “It just happened after a long day of drinking. I didn’t see the girl until we boarded.
"She was sitting in front of us with her friend. She was 23 and good looking."
He added: “They turned round and started speaking to us. My brother said shall we swap seats, so she came and sat next to me.
“It must have been 40 minutes into the flight when the idea came up and we just went for it."

Who says romance is dead, eh?
He continued: "There were two flight attendants by the toilets, and I’m pretty sure they saw us walk in.”
He then revealed that at the time, he had not been bothered, saying: “Because I was so out of it, I didn’t really care but later on it hit me.”

Sawyer also said that he didn't get the woman's number before they parted ways, explaining: “I thought about the girl. It would be good to see her again but I didn’t get her number.”
But the incident left him facing a hefty bill for a return flight when he and his brother found that they had been barred from flying back with EasyJet.
He said: “When we got back to the airport, EasyJet told us we could no longer fly with them.”

Instead, the pair had to fork out £360 to fly home with Tui, before getting an Uber home from the airport.
The now-viral clip has been viewed thousands of times online, which shows the pair shamelessly being caught in the act when a steward opens up the the door to the toilet.
Cheers can be seen erupting up and down the plane when the door swung open to reveal the couple.
Sawyer's mum has come out in defence of her son, saying: "Yes it’s embarrassing but I don’t think they were doing anyone any harm. They were all just having a good time in the airport and then this happened.

"The air steward shouldn’t have just opened the door. The whole flight was egging him on and even he was laughing."
