CCTV footage seems to show Michael Mosley falling over after his wife admitted that he 'nearly made it' to safety prior to his death.
The TV doctor's body was found on the Greek island of Symi following an extensive search by local authorities after last being seen setting off on a walk on Wednesday (5 June).
His wife, Dr Clare Bailey Mosley, alerted officials around 7:30pm that day after her husband hadn't returned from his walk for six hours.

On Sunday (9 June) morning, a body was discovered beside Agia Marina on the island of Symi, which was later confirmed by his wife to be Mosley.
The 67-year-old's body was revealed to have been found by a cave, with the island's deputy mayor, Nikitas Grillas, telling The Guardian: “He has been found in the area of Ayia Marina, I can confirm that it is him.”
Found beneath a fence that runs around a bar on the Agia Marino beach, the Brit's body was located by a private boat, Grillas said.

His widow says that he had appeared to have taken an 'incredible climb', but 'took the wrong route and collapsed where he couldn’t be easily seen' by emergency search teams.
A first examination by a coroner has dismissed the possibility of foul play, but further investigation is set to ensue on the father-of-four to confirm a cause of death, according to The Daily Mail.
Mosley had been spotted by CCTV at a grey house near the harbour after leaving his wife and friends at 1:30pm local time that day.
Further reports also said that footage was found by a beach bar that revealed the doctor making his way down a rocky slope before falling out of view, not to be seen again.

"We loved each other very much and were so happy together. I am incredibly proud of our children, their resilience and support over the past days."

"We're taking comfort in the fact that he so very nearly made it.
"He did an incredible climb, took the wrong route and collapsed where he couldn’t be easily seen by the extensive search team.
"Michael was an adventurous man, it's part of what made him so special. We are so grateful to the extraordinary people on Symi who have worked tirelessly to help find him.
"Some of these people on the island, who hadn't even heard of Michael, worked from dawn till dusk unasked. We're also very grateful to the press who have dealt with us with great respect."
