It's a dream for most of us, but how easy is it to get?

Nando's is a massive UK favourite, with many just not being able to get enough of that peri-peri taste.

If you're a huge fan of the restaurant chain, you may have heard of the exclusive Nando's Black Card, which is handed out by the chain to people who are entitled to free food and drink for themselves and friends when they visit.

In fact, UK artist Example revealed exactly what you get as the owner of a Black Card:

Obtaining one is incredibly hard, with many people vying to get the perk of free food and drink from Nando's for an entire year.

The restaurant have always been illusive and quiet about the scheme, though the website explains: "You've heard rumours about it - a card that magically provides free Nando's for a whole year.

"The mythical Nando's High Five card - can you be sure it really exists? Or, like unicorns and Robin Hood, is it just a legend - one created by Nando's to give fans a holy grail to yearn for?"

The likes of Ed Sheeran, Example and Vernon Kay have flexed their 'High Five' cards, as they are called, so we know they're real.

However, there is one crucial hidden rule that the restaurant have for their coveted Black Card.

It is discreetly explained on the company's website, with them saying: "We can tell you for certain is that no-one who's requested a card, no matter how politely, has ever received one.

"Asking for one is simply the biggest taboo - a definite no no."

So it looks like if you want one - don't ask for one?

FoodTribe have explained exactly what you have to do to get one though, and it's not easy - firstly, you need to be in a 'position of influence' and not afraid to share your love on Nando's publicly.

It's probably how Ed Sheeran got his card, following his viral 'Nando's Skank' with Example (one of the Black Card pioneers) 14 years ago.

The magical lyrics from Sheeran were: "Yo, and we eat chicken for free / Cause he's got a Black Card you see".

Ed Sheeran was once the holder of a Nando's High Five card.

And almost like a magic spell, he got his own Black Card from the popular restaurant chain.

Nando's state exactly what the holder can get on the card though, so if you're ever lucky enough to be given one this is what you can expect: "As a valued friend of Nando's, the person named on this card is entitled to one starter, one combo meal, one dessert and one soft drink - along with up to four friends. Sorry no free alcoholic drinks."

Imagine that - a cheeky Nando's whenever you'd like.
