Netflix users have been left furious after the streaming site announced yet more unpopular changes to the platform.
The site pulls in millions of subscribers thanks to its hit shows such as Stranger Things, Bridgerton and, of course, the currently viral Baby Reindeer.
However, this hasn't stopped Netflix from making some seriously hated changes to their site, with changes to subscription plans and to axing of account sharing leaving users furious in the past couple of years.

Unfortunately for subscribers, the streaming platform has just announced yet another unpopular change.
The update was announced via the streamer's help page, which read: "A new Netflix app for Windows is coming soon, which includes support for watching live events, increased streaming quality, compatibility with ad-supported plans, and more.
"While downloads will no longer be supported, you can continue to watch TV shows and movies offline on a supported mobile device."

The update brings the app inline with the browser version of Netflix, which currently doesn't allow users to download content on laptops.
Users were quick to share their reactions on Reddit, with one user revealing they had received a message from Netflix confirming that they were removing the option.
Once implemented, the update means that you will no longer be able to download content onto your laptop to watch offline, which makes filling the long hours while travelling a lot harder.

"I came here to complain about the same thing. My internet isn't always reliable, having the ability to download shows is essential," one user wrote.
"Why even have a Windows app if you can't use it offline? Might as well use the site at that point, at least that gets updated."
"I got the same message on my laptop. It must a new thing? As I can't find anything to say why they chose to do this. I too download movies/shows through the app for long trips," a second person commented, while a third asked: "Anyone know how to skip the update?"
However, there's good news for people who are subscribed to the cheaper, ads-supported plan - with the update now allowing them to access content on their laptop.

Netflix introduced its controversial ad-supported tier earlier this year.
Priced at £4.99 a month, the new basic plan replaced the popular Basic ad-free plan. Meanwhile, subscribers who want to watch their favourite shows without the disruption of adverts will now have to fork out £10.99 a month.
And those who want Ultra HD and screen-time on multiple devices will now pay £17.99 per month.
