It's been almost a decade since Britain was first introduced to Hull's famous son Ronnie Pickering, whose name was soon in everyone's ears thanks to a viral road rage video.
In the video, Pickering argues with a moped driver and shouts his own name more than once, and it spread across the internet like wildfire.
Ronnie Pickering became the stuff of memes, catapulting him to even greater levels of fame. Here it is, incase you need a recap:
However, he admitted to Hull Live that he finds all the videos and jokes featuring him 'bizarre' and doesn't really understand it.

Pickering said it was 'amazing' what the internet could do with one little video, but he didn't even know he was being filmed during the viral incident until a friend told him he was all over YouTube.
He's gone on to tell Hull Live that the Ronnie Pickering you see in the video isn't quite like the man himself.
He said: "People have rows like that all the time but they are not always filmed.
"The guy wanted a reaction and he got one. The video was heavily edited. The footage of him winding me up wasn’t there at all.

"He edited much of himself out and made it look like he was the victim. To be honest, I was just spouting a lot of gobbledegook. I said things I wouldn’t normally say.
"I now wish I had never said all that but what can you do?"
Ronnie admitted after the video went viral that he didn't come out of the video looking great, having challenged the moped rider to a 'bare knuckle fight' before saying he knows he was 'out of order'.

Pickering said he found the moped driver 'irritating' but doesn't think badly of him now, and hopes he donated some of the money he reckons the bloke made off the video to charity.
People still recognise him now - Eddie Hearn was pretty much starstruck when he met the guy in 2017 - and Ronnie seemed to lean into the joke.
Pickering then tried to cajole Hearn into getting him some VIP tickets to an upcoming event, with Hearn saying he was 'a bit celeb shocked'.

The boxing promoter then told Ronnie he'd 'sort it out for you', so here's hoping he was true to his word.
It's a strange kind of fame, becoming known for being in a series of memes which take off and gain a life of their own far beyond your control.
Every now and then you hear of how they're doing, and it's nice to know they're keeping well.
