Warning: this article discusses sexual assault and rape
Russell Brand had a disturbing phone call with notorious paedophile Jimmy Savile live on air, where they joked about Brand sending a naked woman to Savile for a massage.
The audio featured in Russell Brand: In Plain Sight, a recent Dispatches documentary for Channel 4 which was part of an investigation into accusations against Brand from multiple women.
The joint investigation from The Times and Dispatches brings forth the accusations of four women who have made allegations of rape and sexual assault against Brand, who has denied their claims.

The accusations span a period of time between 2006 and 2013, with one woman saying she was assaulted by Brand when she was 16 and he was 31, and a second saying he was emotionally, physically and sexually abusive towards her.
Another woman alleges that he raped her at his Los Angeles home, and a fourth woman says that Brand sexually assaulted her while she was working for him and claims she was threatened with legal action if she said anything.
The Metropolitan Police have since confirmed that they have received a complaint of alleged sexual assault against Brand, which concerns an incident in Soho, London in 2003.

The police have urged anyone who believes they may have been a victim of a sexual offence to contact them no matter how long ago it happened.
The documentary Russell Brand: In Plain Sight laid out the allegations made by the four women and at times cut to clips of Brand performing stand-up or broadcasting on the radio.
One such clip in the documentary was found particularly disturbing by viewers as it was a conversation between Brand and Jimmy Savile, who after his death in 2011 was the subject of scores of accusations of paedophilia which ultimately revealed decades of abuse.
Savile has been described as 'hiding in plain sight' as following the uncovering of his crimes, a wide range of clips from his career showing creepy behaviour were given disturbing context.

One of those clips was played on Russell Brand: In Plain Sight and featured a conversation between Brand and Savile where the two of them joked about sending Brand's assistant to Savile naked.
During the call, Brand told Savile it would 'be very nice to meet you one day', with the paedophile responding that if Brand had a sister they could meet if he brought her with him.
Brand replied that he didn't have a sister but he could bring his personal assistant along, and said that 'anyone I demand she greet, meet, massages she has to do it, she's very attractive Jimmy'.

Savile described that as 'a good start' and told Brand he could 'send her along to do some research', with the comedian then asking if there was anything Savile wanted his personal assistant to wear.
The disgraced TV personality said he would prefer Brand's assistant to wear nothing, with Brand saying, 'that's not gonna be a problem', and both of them saying 'nothing wrong with that'.
Since being part of the documentary, the clip has gained widespread criticism, with people branding it 'disturbing' and 'one of the most chilling scenes' from the programme.
