Whether you truly buy into it or not, the threat of a Third World War doesn't seem to be diminishing.
The latest twist in this nuclear-charged story occurred yesterday (15 April) when the UK's Ministry of Defence revealed its plans to supply Ukraine with 120,000 drones, prompting the Russians to warn of 'unpredictable consequences'.
President Vladimir Putin's minions are said to be directly eyeing three locations across the British Isles for potential strikes, as well as other European territories. This comes after the Germans agreed a defence package valued at £3.4 billion, while the Norwegians have pledged £7.8 billion in assistance to Ukraine.
"Instead of strengthening the security of European states, the actions of European leaders are increasingly drawing these countries into a war with Russia," said Putin's Defence Ministry.

It is believed that London, Mildenhall (a market town in Suffolk), and Leicester are the vulnerable spots for detonation - Munich, Riga, Hengelo, and Prague are included in the non-UK areas - but why is that exactly?
Well, Mildenhall, with its population of approximately 10,000 souls, happens to harbour one of the main RAF bases - RAF Mildenhall. According to its website, it houses 'units from four different major commands - Air Combat Command, Air Force Special Operations Command, Air Mobility Command and US Air Forces in Europe'.
It's also home to the 100th Air Refueling Wing, the 'only permanent US air refueling wing in the European theater', which supplies 'critical air refueling for US and NATO aircraft'.
Close by, hugging the village of Lakenheath, lies another base used by the Americans. If these were to be wiped out, the thousands upon thousands of drones would never reach President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's troops. Nullifying them at the source, if you will.

The Russian statement added: "The European public should not only clearly understand the true causes of the threats to their security but also know the addresses and locations of 'Ukrainian' and 'joint' enterprises producing drones and components for Ukraine on the territory of their countries."
Contributing to the warning was Deputy Chairman of the Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, who claimed on social media that Russia's statement 'must be taken literally'.
"The list of European facilities which makes drones and other equipment is a list of potential targets for the Russian armed forces. When strikes become a reality depends on what comes next. Sleep well, European partners!" wrote Medvedev.

In February, Zelenskyy ominously told the BBC: "I believe that Putin has already started it [WW3]. The question is how much territory he will be able to seize and how to stop him... Russia wants to impose on the world a different way of life and change the lives people have chosen for themselves."
