Brits have been left creeped out after a shark was spotted swimming in the River Thames.
The horror began when Londoner Charlotte Webb was walking through the city with her friend Olivia Kaliszewska.
As they were nearby the Thames, they spotted an unusually pointy object swimming around in the water.

After initially thinking it was some sort of bean bag, they decided to capture some footage to work out what it was.
It was not a bean bag, obviously.
Rather, the fin was thought to belong to that of a tope shark.

It happens to be endangered and is one of five known species of shark known to live in the Thames.
Usually, topes are around 6ft 3in and considered harmless to humans, which is always good.
It's thought they tend to use the river as a nursery shortly after giving birth.
“I had no idea sharks swam in the Thames,” Charlotte, 25, told What’s The Jam.

“I thought it was fake or a bean bag floating along at first.
“My best friend Olivia said it was definitely not a shark and joked that it was a crocodile.
“It looked around 5ft which makes it a tope shark according to the comments.”

She added: “I absolutely hate sharks so it just confirmed my decision to never go in the sea again.
“We carried on eating our sweet potato fries and thought it would be funny to upload it online.”
However, after hearing about the story, viewers compared it to that of scary Netflix flick Under Paris.
The French film, directed by Xavier Gens, follows character Sophia (Bérénice Bejo), who works as a marine biologist.

For five years she had failed to find the shark that brutally killed her colleagues and it came as a shock when environmental activist Mika (Léa Léviant) found something sinister lurking below.
Mika discovered a shark swimming around in the Seine just days before the World Triathlon Championships that were due to take place in Paris.
It turns out that the shark was the exact one that Sophia was attempting to hunt down.
Amid bloody circumstances, it was Sophia, Mika, and police officer Adil (Nassim Lyes) who joined forces to take down the creature.
One Netflix viewer said: "Was Under Paris really a warning."
Another added: "Under Paris really did send everyone a warning."
While a third wrote: "Under Paris movie coming to life."
Someone else claimed: "Under Paris is gonna happen in London lol."
At the time of writing, Under Paris has a pretty average 63 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes' Tomatometer, along with an underwhelming 31 percent audience score.
