It seems Scotland is getting the worst of the bad weather as river levels have been tipped to reach an ‘unprecedented’ five metres above normal levels.

Both roads and bridges have collapsed, as First Minister Humza Yousaf warns 'we have not seen the last of this storm'.
Torrential flood water has washed away a 200-year-old bridge on the Rottal Estate in Angus, while the village of Edzell was cut off by flood water from three rivers that surround it.
And nearly 30,000 customers lost power but were mostly reconnected, leaving 3,800 properties without electricity, according to Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN).
Three people have died as a result of the storm: a man in his 60s caught in fast-flowing floodwaters that breached a road in Cleobury Mortimer, Shropshire this morning (20 October); a 56-year-old man whose van was hit by a falling tree in Forfar, Angus yesterday; and a 57-year-old woman who was swept into a river in Angus on Thursday.

Amid the horrific circumstances, a woman has filmed herself on TikTok (@gracevickers0) kayaking home from her shift.
Grace Vickers' viral video sees her paddling in a small boat in the midst of a flooded town in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
The clip, which was uploaded on Friday (20 October) shows the terrifying scenes of roads, cars and houses all underwater.

"Shift done (tick emoji). Kayak home(tick emoji)," Grace captioned the post that already has two million views at the time of writing.
Despite the state of her area, the TikToker was clearly keeping in a positive mood, and so were viewers.
"I’m howling at the thought of passing people ye know on their kayaks like 'ye alright yeh just off to work catch ye later'," one person commented.

Another added: "That mad kayak purchase coming in handy."
"Just made me realise even when the world's mostly flooded there still going to expect me to turn up to work," a third penned.
"The crocs in sports mode completed this video," a fourth wrote.
Although someone else thought: "Why would you wear crocks in a flood?"

In a follow-up clip, Grace joked: "Don’t need Venice when you’ve got Chesterfield."
"What a beautiful lake," added another.
"Venice 2.0," someone else said.
