Taylor Swift might be regarded as pop royalty by her fans, but it seems Buckingham Palace reckons she's quite regal too, as it paid homage to the singer ahead of her weekend run at Wembley Stadium.
The Pennsylvania-born star seems to be getting the princess treatment while she's in London for the first leg of her Eras Tour in the capital, where she is performing three sold out shows at the iconic venue.
Swift is getting a good old taste of British hospitality while she's in the Big Smoke, which kicked off with a royal welcome from the Palace's military band on Friday (21 June) ahead of her first gig.

Take a look at this:
The Changing of the Guard had a Taylor Swift twist on it as they paid homage to the star by doing a rendition of her hit song 'Shake It Off' while the soldiers outside of the Palace swapped shifts.
The Royal Family shared footage of the surprise performance on X and titled the track 'Changing of the Guard: Taylor's Version', in reference to the singer re-recording her old albums after wrangling with her record label.

Comically, the clip was captioned: "Can't stop, won't stop groovin'."
And I'll tell you what, the full brass band - made up of trumpets, saxophones and other wind instruments - did an incredible job of covering the catchy tune from her 1989 album.
Social media users seemed to think so too, while Swifties were blown away by the warm welcome for their idol.

One said: "Well that is amazing! Truly amazing. And such a beautiful way to welcome Taylor! Wow! Now that’s what I call style and class. You’ve got it all!"
Another wrote: "This may be my favourite tweet ever. Thank you!"
A third added: "Your social media manager needs a raise or a knighthood."
While a fourth joked: "Always knew Princess Catherine and Prince William were Swifties."

It turns out that the Prince of Wales really might be a big fan of the 'Bad Blood' songstress, as he was in the crowd at Wembley with his three children last night while celebrating his birthday.
The future king turned 42 on 21 June and what better way to mark the occasion than boogying to Swift, eh?
He is said to have attended the Eras Tour with Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, while Zara and Mike Tindall were also believed to have joined in the fun.

Coincidentally, Prince William was also caught on camera shimmying to 'Shake It Off' as Swift did her thing on stage.
It seems the Royals really do have a soft spot for that song.
After her Wembley concerts, Swift will then head to Dublin for further gigs before performing across Europe.
The 34-year-old will then return to London to take to the stage five more times in August.
