A chilling warning has been issued over a notorious gangster known as ‘big Viking stomper’.
Daniel Gee has now been on the run from police for 10 days. The 44-year-old is well-known for having flooded Grizedale estate in Liverpool with drugs.
In 2010, the gangster was handed a rare indefinite sentence for public protection after he made death threats to a teen who shot him two years beforehand.

And now concern is growing as Gee was reported missing on 27 May after absconding from HMP Kirklevington Grange.
The category D open prison sits in a rural area of North Yorkshire, not far from the Teeside border.
CCTV footage recently released by Cleveland Police shows him walking towards James Cook Train Station from the direction of James Cook University Hospital car park at 11:50am on 28 May where it's believed that he boarded a train to Middlesbrough.

The video shows the ‘big Viking stomper’ wearing a pale blue t-shirt, black Adidas trackie bottoms and a beige hat. Gee is described as around 6ft tall with a large build and a bald head. He’s believed to have links to Carlisle, St Helens and Merseyside.

True crime podcaster Billy Moore has branded the absconded prisoner as a ‘force to be reckoned with’.
Moore described his first encounter with the criminal on his podcast The All or Nothing.
“I remember Danny when he was 20 years old,” he said. “He was a strong kid back then. He would come in off the streets and would be repping 80kg military press above his head, no problem.

“I wouldn't underestimate him. He doesn't strike me as someone with a big ego. He's dangerous but he's obviously been re-categorised as a low danger to get to Kirklevington.”
Moore added that the ‘big Viking stomper’ would ‘just wreck you’ and said: “I would be very, very wary of him. He's been away for a long time."
During Gee’s trial, the then Recorder of Liverpool, Judge Henry Globe KC, said: "I am in no doubt that the public must be protected from you in the future. I really do not know when it will be safe to release you."
Anyone who sees Gee is asked to call Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 098852. Alternatively, you can call the charity Crimestoppers anonymously online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling 0800 555 111.
