Another day, another fond memory from your childhood absolutely destroyed.
It's something I think we'd all hoped would never happen, but Walkers has confirmed that yet another of its top flavours is no more.
Since it first started shifting packets of fried potato to the nation, the crisp giant has produced a wide variety of flavours.

From prawn cocktail and cheese and onion to barbecue and even tomato ketchup.
The chances are if you've ever wanted it, they've made it.
But as is so often the case, all good things must, eventually, come to an end, and it appears that that is the case for one of the nation's favourites: beef and onion.
After realising they hadn't seen the iconic brown packet in a while, one loyal customer took to X to ask the bosses of Walkers what was going on.

"Have you stopped making Beef and Onion Crisps?" she asked.
She then added a meme of a dog with tears in its eyes, which said, 'Say it's not true'.

And not one to leave fans hanging, the folks over at Walkers responded to the message, though it definitely wasn't the response she was wanting.
The spokesperson said: "Hi Katie, sorry to say Beef & Onion was discontinued last year."
Reacting to the news, Katie simply put: "Devastated..... why?"
To this, however, she did not get an answer.

The news comes not long after it was announced that Walkers had also binned off another of its best offerings: Worcester sauce.
Also taking to X, another crisp fanatic asked the company: "Is it just me that's noticed but I've not seen these in my local shop/supermarket for a while now @walkers_crisps can I still get them??" alongside a picture of the infamous Worcester sauce flavour.
For those not in the know, the Worcester sauce flavour is infamous for its unique, tangy taste.

The Walkers admin then replied: "Hi, we're sorry but Worcester Sauce flavour is no longer part of our range."
Understandably, people were absolutely gutted by the news, to say the least, with one saying: "That's a real shame, I enjoyed them in a sandwich!"
And another added: "Walkers Worcester Sauce were my favourite for years."
I don't know about you, but I'm gonna struggle to cope with the losses of these two stellar flavours.
Maybe give us a heads up next time you're thinking of killing off another of the star players, eh?
