If you thought the beginning of spring was going to provide you with mild mornings and sunny afternoons, then buckle up.
According to the Met Office, a yellow weather warning for wind, rain and snow across the UK has been put in pace from today.
This means you’ll need to swap those shorts and cardigans for something a little more robust - and don’t even think about going out tonight scantily clad, it’ll be a wellies and raincoat job.

This alert is in place from 8am today until 10pm on Saturday, and will see almost all of the west coast of England, Wales and Scotland affected by Storm Kathleen.
The entirety of Northern Ireland will be battered by the winds too, so hold onto your hats, folks.
These 50 mph gusts can reach up to 70 mph in some places, so if you’re up for a laugh, doing the Michael Jackson 'Earth Song' impression in your garden would be spot on in this weather.
Just don’t do anything outside of the comfort of your home, as the Met Office stated it could bring risks of injury or even threatening your life from the waves on the coast.

Covering Cornwall, parts of Cumbria and Lancashire, much of Wales, and central Scotland and Northern Ireland, travel disruption could occur and even power cuts or phone signal issues.
However, on the horizon, there is hope.
According to The Met, Saturday could bring other areas a nice dose of sun in the low 20s, particularly in the southeast of England.

Storm Kathleen was named by Met Eireann, Ireland's national forecaster, and the country has issued its own warning as places such as Cork, Kerry, Galway and Mayo are supposed to be worst affected by the winds.
Whilst England can enjoy a yellow warning, Ireland has an amber alert, meaning 'very difficult travel conditions'.
But if you though that would be the worst of it, I’ve got some bad news.
There’s also set to be a snow warning from 3am until 9am today for most of Scotland, so travelling to work might be a pickle.

There is also a snow warning from 3am until 9am on Friday for a large part of Scotland, meaning the morning commute could be affected for some people.
If you live around Stirling to south of Inverness, grab your winter gear because you could be in for around 2-5 cm or even 10 cm of snow fall, according to the Met Office.
The forecaster said: "Snow is likely to cause some travel disruption on Friday morning, particularly on higher routes.”
Edinburgh and Dunfermline to Scotland's west coast should also expect their weather warning for heavy rain to stop at 9am after being active for the past 5 hours this morning.

So, everyone this weekend should be on the lookout for a dreary weekend.
