New details have emerged from the wedding of conjoined twin Abby Hensel and her beau Josh Bowling.
Abby and Brittany Hensel are famously known for appearing on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 1996 before their TLC reality series, Abby & Brittany.
The pair are known as dicephalus conjoined twins, which means that both of their heads appear side by side and they share one torso.

According to the Journal of Pediatric Surgery, dicephalus conjoined twins are ‘often stillborn because of cardiopulmonary malformations’ with a small number of cases reaching adulthood.
The sisters share all of their organs below the waist and their bloodstream, with Abby controlling right side and Brittany controlling the left.
However, the pair, now 34, have continued to defy odds throughout their lives, with them going on to attend university, achieve separate degrees and become teachers in Minnesota.

But they've been making headlines in recent weeks after it emerged that Abby had got married in 2021.
And despite the sisters being undeniably close, it has been revealed that surprisingly, Abby didn’t have twin Brittany as a witness at her wedding, as she isn’t documented as being present.
Their sister Morgan and another guest acted as a witnesses instead.
According to The Mirror, the documents confirm that the wedding was held at the Jerome Event Center in Delano, MN, and officiated by Rev. Sid A. Veenstra on November 13, 2021.

Now Abby Bowling, this marriage ties Abby down to some pretty dramatic business from Josh’s end.
In 2023, Josh’s ex-wife Annica Bowling filed a paternity lawsuit against him, only two years after his wedding with Abby.
PEOPLE obtained documents which found that Annica filed the suit against Josh and another man called Gavin Vatnsdal.

The lawsuit is said to refer to the paternity of Annica's youngest daughter, who she gave birth to in 2020, a year after her split from Josh. Yikes.
Nothing seems to be hindering the recently wedded couple though, despite the upcoming court hearing regarding the paternity case on April 19.
It’s just one more hurdle for Abby and Brittany to overcome together, and the two have defied the odds since their birth in 1990.

During an interview in the past, Abby said: "We never wish we were separated because we would never be able to do all the things that we do now, like play softball, run and do sports."
However, there will always be questions about their love life - especially now Abby is a married woman.
In 2012, Brittany stated: “The whole world doesn’t need to know who we are seeing, what we are doing and when we are going to do it. But believe me, we are totally different people.”
Abby added: “Yeah, we are going to be mums one day, but we don’t want to talk about how it’s going to work yet.”
What a great moment for the women!
