Wade Wilson was sentenced to death for his heinous crimes in August 2024

The man known as the 'Deadpool killer' had an eerie reaction after hearing the closing arguments in his case, which included quotes from the man himself.

Sharing a name with Marvel character Wade Wilson, famously played by actor Ryan Reynolds, the criminal is nothing like the lovable vigilante, as he was sentenced to death for his crimes earlier this year.

The American was convicted of the murders of Kristine Melton, 35, and Diane Ruiz, 43, that happened in Forty Myers in Florida, US, that took place in October 2019.

Heavily inked up, the defendant sported Swastikas, the digits '666', a Joker-inspired mouth tattoo and the chilling phrase 'Bred for war' on his face.

Wilson chillingly said that he killed the women within just hours of each other 'for the sake of killing'.

He was convicted of six charges, which include two counts of first-degree murder, battery, burglary, theft and grand theft auto on 12 June before the jury voted to put him on death row.

His biological father, Steven Testasecca, testified against him in court, revealing a phone call where his son confessed his crimes on 6 October, 2019.

Testasecca said that Wilson confessed to the killings of Melton and Ruiz on call, creepily detailing that there were 'two people who were gone and would not be coming back'.

Although the father didn't initially believe it, Wilson went on, revealing 'I choked that b***h' when talking about killing Melton, whose body was found wrapped in sheets.

Ruiz on the other hand was lured into a car, which Wilson stole from Melton, and strangled her and pulling her out of the car, which Testasecca told the court: "He said that he pulled her out of the car and realised she was still breathing,

"He [then] said he got back in the car and ran her over until she looked like spaghetti."

But what is more scary than all of this is when the final arguments were put out by the State and the defendant.

The State pointed out the words that he said to his father: "I've already done it once, I'll do it again."

As cameras focused on him, Wilson was completely emotionless, showing absolutely no remorse for his actions, as he blankly stared at the lawyer.

They then closed by saying that only one woman survived his attacks that day, and described the case as 'nothing more than a graphic, vulgar, display of power.'

Despite Wilson's lawyer arguing that he was mentally ill, he was voted in favour of the death penalty on both counts.

Oddly though, his lawyer made one last bizarre request to the court, saying: "I understand he has other cases pending here and elsewhere... but Mr Wilson asked me to ask the court within whatever authority you have to get him to death row as soon as possible."

In response to the request, Circuit Judge Thompson said the other cases against Wilson could only be heard on 16 September at the earliest. A date for his execution currently remains unknown due to these outstanding charges.
