A man in America has been arrested for allegedly trying to rob a shop with a 'finger gun'.
The Colorado Springs Police Department arrested Antonio Taylor shortly after they responded to a robbery alarm at a convenience store off North Newport Road and Aeroplaza Drive at midnight last Sunday (23 March).
The store employee told police that they had just missed a man who allegedly pointed a 'finger gun' at him, as he stole items from the shop.

"The suspect pointed a ‘finger gun’ at the clerk and told him it was a robbery," a CSPD lieutenant said, according to KKTV.
"The suspect used coarse language that intimidated the store clerk and put him in fear of physical harm from the suspect."
Witnesses informed police that the 35-year-old was driving a pink GMC Yukon, which officers noticed later at a traffic stop.

When they tried to pull the individual over, the driver allegedly sped off.

"Officers in an unmarked police vehicle later located the vehicle at a Maverick gas station," the lieutenant added.
"Officers moved in and blocked the vehicle. It was then that officers learned that the suspect’s teenage daughter was in the passenger seat of the vehicle."
Police said the suspect then refused to let his daughter get out of the car, before they were forced to intervene.
Officials then took away the daughter 'for her own safety,' before arresting Taylor.
"An extraction of the daughter was performed for her own safety. The suspect was then taken into custody for numerous charges including robbery," the lieutenant added.

Taylor remains in custody at the El Paso County jail, on a $10,000 bond.
The Gazette reported that he is due to face court on Tuesday (1 April).
The outlet also reported that, in 2017, Taylor was arrested for allegedly kidnapping his ex-girlfriend's daughter, five, after he was with the child on a play date.
At the time, officers said the mother agreed to let her daughter go to the movies with her ex's six-year-old daughter.

Taylor, identified as her ex, allegedly picked the little girl up and took the kids out.
He allegedly wouldn't tell her where her daughter was, until police said they eventually found her unharmed and still with the suspect.
The outlet reports that he was previously held in El Paso County jail without a bond.
