Police made a concerning discovery after arresting a man on suspicion of tampering with his co-worker's drink.
Wisconsin State Fair Park employee Joseph Ross is accused of adding super glue to the unnamed woman's drinks over several weeks, which caused her to begin feeling unwell.
According to the complaint, the woman - named JH in court records - had begun to notice a 'strong chemical smell and taste' coming from her Coca-Cola cans, with fears that someone may have been tampering with her drinks growing after she 'became ill' after consuming them.

Keen to investigate her suspicions, the woman concealed a recording device under her computer on 20 March and left her drink unattended. The resulting footage would shock the woman as it appeared to show Ross allegedly slipping something into her drink.
In the disturbing footage, the man believed to be Ross approaches the woman's desk and appears to squeeze a substance - suspected to be superglue - into the Coca-Cola can before leaving.
The woman handed over the footage to the police, which led to the man's arrest.
34-year-old Ross has since been charged with one felony count of placing foreign objects in edibles on Tuesday (25 March) and is being held at the Milwaukee County Jail with a bail of $10,000 (£,7,725).

According to People, police said he has since admitted to putting a 'supplement' in the woman's drink.
Meanwhile, officers were able to obtain a warrant to search the man's office and the surrounding area - with the investigation revealing a concerning discovery.
Authorities were able to locate a rubbish bag which contained a 'set of clear protective gloves wadded up into a ball'. Inside each of the gloves was a super glue cap and tube.

Police noted the adhesive was 'Gorilla brand super glue' and added that the bottle had a warning to 'keep out of the reach of children' due to the risk of ingesting it.

The woman's drink has also been sent off for further analysis.
Wisconsin State Fair Park later confirmed to the outlet that an incident had occurred, but added that the individuals involved were employed by vendors and not the park.
"Since this incident occurred while at State Fair Park, our police department responded, conducted a thorough investigation, and submitted the report to the District Attorney," the spokesperson said. "Additionally, our police department has issued a 'No Trespass Order' to the individual being charged."

Ross is scheduled to appear in court on 3 April for a preliminary hearing. Should he be found guilty, the man faces up to 38 months in prison and a fine of up to $10,000, TMJ4 reports.
