A live stream ended up being the key to finding a 17-year-old who had been missing for six weeks.
Twitch streamer FaZe Lacy had no idea the teen who showed up on his stream had been missing since May 21 until he checked his emails.
The content creator was broadcasting his shenanigans in Miami with his friend Clix with hundreds of thousands of viewers watching their every move, when a shirtless young man in bright green shorts was seen walking up the street.

The mysterious guy ends up stopping and chatting to the streamers while they dine al fresco at a restaurant, even sharing a few jokes before talking to people on another table.
When the conversations ended, he then heads off on his own and Lacy thought nothing more of it.
That’s until he checked his emails and read an email from the a man claiming to be the brother of the teen on the stream.

He had reached out after someone who was watching the stream contacted him.
According to the man, who is called Trent, the guy who was chatting to them all was supposedly Troy Coleman, who at the time, had been missing for six weeks.
The email read: "Hello, my name is Trent Coleman and my missing little brother from Michigan was on Clix and Lacy's stream in Miami.

"He was wearing green shorts and they were making fun of him, he is not on drugs he is schizophrenic and he is 17 years old. If someone can contact me about this I would be so thankful, he has been missing for three months and his case was put on homicide in Michigan."
Lacy said he thought 'put on homicide' meant Troy's family 'thought he was dead'.
He later went on to share a still image of Troy from the footage, as well as a screenshot of the message he received from his brother.
He wrote: "Yesterday on stream he came up to me and Clix and now his family knows he is alive and in Miami. I wasn’t sure if I should make this public but I'm hoping somehow this helps him be found for his family."
The 17-year-old, from Mt. Morris Township in the US state of Michigan, and had not been seen since May 21.

Lacy shared the story to X and updated followers on July 4 to say they’d responded to Trent and disclosed which hotel Troy had said he was staying at while they were talking.
He wrote: “He has been found and placed in a holding cell in Miami until he gets transferred back to Michigan with his family. The power of the internet is insane thank you guys."
The Coleman family’s local police department also confirmed in a post that Troy was found safe and would be returning home to his family.
