Creepy footage shows a couple of ghostly shapes moving around in Gettysburg in the US. Check it out:
The footage, which was shared on YouTube by T C Ballinger, was filmed in October 2009 around a mile away from Triangular Field, with Ballinger claiming they only spotted the ‘strange forms’ after watching the clip back later.
In the clip, you can see Ballinger approaching a gate, which holds a sign warning trespassers to stay away, before stopping just in front of it showing a view of some trees.
A weird shape appears behind one of the trees to the left of the shot, which then later appears to vanish before reappearing. While towards the centre of the shot another shape appears to move about. Spooky, eh?
Gettysburg, in Pennsylvania, is a well-known spot for ghost hunters, with experts claiming the area is plagued by ghosts due to its bloody past during the American Civil War.
The Battle of Gettysburg was fought between Union and Confederate forces during the American Civil War in July 1863.
It resulted in thousands of deaths and more than 50,000 casualties.
Nowadays, the battleground has since become a huge tourist attraction, and has also been dubbed one of the most haunted places in America.
In 2020, tourist Greg Yuelling shared his own creepy clip in which he also claimed to have caught a couple of human-sized apparitions on camera.
Yelling took his daughters and two of his uncles to the battleground in September 2020 to soak up a bit of history, but they ended up getting more than they bargained for when they seemingly stumbled across some ghosts making the most of the night.
Yuelling, a store manager from New Jersey, said he was driving along the road at night when he and his family spotted 'figures moving in the darkness'.
"We were driving along one night and we started hearing noises, I heard things to the left and my uncle heard things to the right, and there was a fog, but the fog was weird, it was only in one patch not dispersed.
"Then we saw these shapes moving in the darkness, they were the size of humans, one of them ran right through the cannon.
"It was weird, it was scary, it was crazy... my uncle got so scared he rolled up the window.
"We went back and watched the videos over and over again, and then we blew them up on the big screen to get a closer look.
"That made us even more freaked out.”
