Will Smith has documented a terrifying home invasion and told his followers he is now 'at a Holiday Inn' following the ordeal.
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star posted footage of the incident on Instagram, revealing an eight-legged marauder that is so horrific that is sure to send a chill down your spine.

"What the whole hell? That is a big-a** spider!" Smith said in the video.
The frankly monstrous spider appears to be a tarantula, so it's a big 'no thanks' from us.
Smith also noped the heck out of the situation, putting his son Trey in charge of spider wrangling.
And, like a housewife in an old-timey 1950s movie trying to escape from a mouse, he climbed onto a chair for safety.

Meanwhile, the arachnid continued to bop around on the floor.
"C'mon, you're young and strong. You can handle the bite," the King Richard star told his son, who just stared back at him in disbelief.
Trey then moved on to getting down to business. Spider-wangling is a serious thing, after all.
In the clip, Trey trapped the spider with a glass (a big glass, might we add) while Smith watched on from his safety zone atop a dining room chair.

The two then tried to get paper to slide underneath the glass.
The spider, of course, went absolutely bonkers, causing the Oscar-winning actor to shriek like Ned Flanders upon seeing purple drapes.
They eventually managed to pick up the spider trap without letting the beast out, with a squeamish looking Smith holding the trap up for the camera.

"So that's the biggest spider we've ever seen in our lives," his son Trey can be heard saying.
"I don't like it at all," Smith said, before adding: "We're selling the house."
While the massive spider moment may have freaked out Will and Trey Smith, the internet was incredibly amused by the whole debacle.

One user said: "Oh hell nawwwwwwwwww! Nope. I wouldn’t be able to sleep there."
A second person added: "Nope. Nope. Nope at all. All that s**t has to burn now."
Smith's wife even waded into the comments, with Jada Pinkett Smith's, Red Table Talk account adding: "That's HIS house now."
Anyway, they got the spider out and all is well.
We're a little confused why Smith didn't just slap the spider, but it seems Smith has learned from The Slappening debacle at the 2022 Academy Awards.
