A TikToker has revealed the sheer horror of chowing down on a packet of biscuits, only to realise that the little dark specks she thought were seeds were actually ants. Lots and lots and lots of little ANTS. Watch her video about what happened here:
We've all had that moment of panic after getting to the last bite of a piece of toast to discover what is unmistakably mould. By that point, there's no back-tracking, so you're simply left to sit and pray that you make it through the night.

But one woman arguably had it even harder when she realised that the biscuits she was contentedly munching on were covered in ants - having already eaten two before realising her mistake.
TikToker Brenna (@brennaj77) shared a video filmed in the immediate wake of her discovery, documenting her horrified expression in selfie mode before flipping the camera around to show the unusual meal she'd just eaten.
She said: "I thought they were seeds... I’ve already eaten two."

In the caption Brenna added: “I think it’s about time for new prescription glasses.”
Many people found the whole thing hilarious, while others simply couldn’t stomach the idea of it happening to them, saying they would feel nothing but ‘traumatised’.
One commented: “NOT THE ANT CRUMBS ON THE LIP AHAHAHAH.”
Someone else wrote: “This is so traumatic I’m genuinely sorry this happened to you.”

Another said: “It’s funny but it’s not. Sis are you doing alright? I'd be traumatized.”
In a bid to make Brenna feel better, a fourth said they thought the ants ‘were seeds too’, while one other person admitted: “I did the same thing with a box of Do-Si-Do cookies 10 years ago and I haven’t had one since.”
When a fellow TikToker asked Brenna ‘when did you notice’, she made another video to reveal a little more about what happened.

She said: “Well, I noticed when the flavour started tasting like pennies – like I was chewing on coins.
“And then I noticed ant dust on my mouth, so...”
The original video has gone viral, racking up a whopping 17.8 million views and 2.4 million likes, with the second clip even attracting a further 1.1 million views as they tuned in to find out more.

Here's hoping the saga has taught her a cruel lesson... Then again, I've eaten mouldy toast countless times in life, so who's to say?
