If you’d asked someone to make predictions about 2025 at the start of this year, you can’t imagine many people will have been able to predict everything that’s gone on.
Whether it be Katy Perry going to space (albeit for about ten minutes), Trump looking to start World War 3 every other week, or the US president starting a government agency called D.O.G.E headed up by Elon Musk, 2025 has been unpredictable so far.
One woman however made a chilling warning for this year and she has a reputation to back it up.

Jeane Dixon, born in 1904, was a self-professed psychic and made several predictions about the future.
One of these involved her claiming in her 1971 memoir A Gift of Prophecy: The Phenomenal Jeane Dixon that there was going to be a terrorist attack against a New York skyscraper in the near future.

In addition to this, she is said to have predicted the death of JFK in 1956, a full seven years prior to his assassination.
In the May 1956 issue of Parade Magazine, Dixon predicted that the 1960 presidential election would be not only won by a democrat, but one who would go on to ‘be assassinated or die in office’.

While this may seem quite vague, considering only four US presidents since 1835 have been assassinated, it’s a creepily spot on prediction.
Dixon did not stop there however and actually had a warning about 2025.
Speaking in her 1969 book My Life and Prophecies, the psychic predicted that between 2025 and 2036 war would break out between Russia and China.
Despite her predictions in the past carrying weight, this particular one would require a massive paradigm shift.
Russia and China’s relationship in 2025 is in one of the more harmonious in recent years, having spent 2024 strengthening their trade and defence partnerships.

In addition to this, Chinese soldiers were found fighting for Russia in Ukraine, though China denies any official involvement in the conflict.
Despite this, it is not impossible – the pair are not allies and alongside the US are two of the three world superpowers.
Dixon’s prediction saw China being the aggressors, conquering a substantial portion of the North of Russia.
She claimed they would then advance through Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark before stopping at the German border.

Though only two of the four were NATO members when she made the prediction (all four are now in the treaty organisation), any moves to do so by China would lead to all out world war.
Here’s hoping that 2025 sticks to the silly news like Katy Perry revealing her tour setlist in space and in this case Dixon misses the mark.
