The boyfriend of a nurse who fell to her death on a hike filmed a final video of her before she fell to her death a few hours later.
Passionate mountain climber Valentina Fino, 31, went on a hike with her boyfriend, Andrea Pedata, 34, in the Italian Apennines last Saturday (10 August).
When Valentina wasn't caring for patients with cancer, she and Andrea would usually love to venture outdoors in their spare time.

However, tragedy struck during their most recent walk after the nurse was climbing the rockface of the Pietra Tagliata while carrying a backpack.
Whilst she was walking, Andrea filmed a clip of her confidently scaling the high cliff.
It turned out to be the last video of her alive after she accidentally slipped and fell about 330ft down the Barbarossa trail a few hours later.
Valentina sustained injuries that would prove to be fatal as Andrea attempted to call for help.

Despite managing to lower himself down to the bottom of the ridge, there was nothing he could do to save her.
"I heard a scream and saw her fall," he said. "I'm destroyed, it hurts too much. We had many plans together about life and excursions.
"The only consolation is that she left doing what she loved most in the world."

Her body was recovered hours later as firefighter's helicopters retrieved her body.
Valentina will be buried today (14 August) in the parish church of Santa Maria Assunta in Borgo Panigale.
This comes after the search for a missing British doctor was called off.
Tom Doherty, 67, from St Albans, was hiking and camping nearby Col d’Escots before he lost contact with his family on 6 August.

Taking to the WhatsApp family group, the dad-of-four wrote: "Help. I've fallen and cannot [m]ove."
On Monday (11 August) officials told Agence France-Presse that search operations had been suspended: “After five days, we haven’t managed to find him.”
Though the investigation into how he went missing remains ongoing.

A spokesperson for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office previously said: “We are supporting the family of a British man missing in France and are in touch with the local authorities.”
Ms Doherty told PA News Agency: “He was sending us a few pictures of the scenery and then on Tuesday afternoon sent us one of clouds coming over the top of a mountain. He said ‘bugger’.
“We told him to be careful and urged him to come down. The last time we heard from him was Tuesday. He told us he had fallen and couldn’t move. That’s all we’ve had since.
“The search party have found his car. We’re obviously very worried and extremely concerned for his welfare.”
