Argentinian football star Alexis Mac Allister appeared to get a little over-excited after his team won the World Cup as he was spotted on Instagram seemingly asking his wife for sex.

Don't get me wrong, if there's a time to get excited it's after you help your home country beat out the rest of the world to become FIFA's champions. It's even an event you might want to celebrate with sex, but you don't necessarily need to announce that to the world.

Argentina made it through weeks in Qatar to beat France in penalties at the World Cup final on Sunday (18 December), resulting in celebrations on the pitch, in the winning team's home country of Argentina, and online.

Mac Allister celebrated his win on Instagram.

Mac Allister's girlfriend, Camila Mayan, was among those praising the team as she took to Instagram to share snaps of her kissing the footballer on the pitch after his win.

Alongside the images, she wrote: "I LOVE YOU CHAMPION!! No words, we did it! LETS GO ARGENTINA."

Nothing inappropriate about that, of course, but it was Allister's response that made things a little more R-rated.

The footballer added a comment under the image which read: "Te amooooo!! Vamos carajooooooo." Or, according to the Instagram translation: "I love you!! Let's f*ckkkkkkk."

I suppose if you don't ask, you don't get, but if the couple were close enough to f*ck then chances are they were close enough for Allister to make the request in person.

It's possible the translation was just slightly off, as Google Translate offers up the words 'I love you!! Come on f*ckoooooo', but that only really seems to depict the same request in slightly less grammatically correct terms.

Mac Allister posted his comment for all to see.

Needless to say, the footballer's comment received a lot of attention from amused fans and has so far racked up nearly 42,000 likes on Instagram.

Fans have responded to laugh at his bluntness, with one commenting: "everyone is here for his legendary comment."

Another tagged the footballer, writing: "straight to the point my guy."

While we won't know for sure whether Mayan accepted her boyfriend's offer, at least we know he got to enjoy the ecstasy of winning the World Cup at the age of 23.

When he wasn't busy commenting on his girlfriend's posts, Allister uploaded numerous photos of his own showing him kissing the World Cup trophy, cradling it like a child and generally relishing in the epic win.
