Female Strawweight Fights Male Heavyweight In MMA Mismatch

Both fighters really went for it during their Epic Fighting Championship bout

Bizarre footage has emerged of an intergender mixed martial arts fight. Have a look for yourself:

Aleksandra Stepakova and Grigory Chistyakov stunned the crowd when they stepped inside the cage to face one another during yet another Epic Fighting Championship event in Russia.

Not only was there the obvious issue of gender, there was also a sizeable weight difference between the two fighters.

Chistyakov, a heavyweight with little professional experience in the sport, cast a huge shadow over his strawweight opponent.

In footage shared on social media, the pair can be seen going at it, with neither fighter holding back.

Despite being much the smaller fighter, Stepakova was able to use her agility and speed to her advantage.

But not only did she last the course, she was also able to land a number of heavy blows to the legs and head of Chistyakov.

Stepakova has fought in one professional bout before this - losing a third-round TKO against Daria Bankina at Opiot Challenge 112 in Moscow.

The inter gender fight took place in Russia.

For his part, Chistyakov has previously faced flyweight Darina Mazdyuk in another inter-gender, weight mismatch. She dropped him within 90 seconds.

If you think the above is weird, just wait.

Last year, an intergender MMA fight was heavily criticised after a woman was badly beaten by her male opponent.

The fight, which took place at a hotel in the Polish city of Czestochowa, ended in the woman receiving punches to the face, with one viewer describing it as 'horrific'.

The female competitor Ula Siekacz is an arm wrestler and fitness instructor.

Despite showing off her bulging muscles online, she was no match for Piotr 'Mua Boy' Lisowski - a beauty brand ambassador who describes himself as '185cm of pure sex'.

A video of the match ended up doing the rounds on social media, in which the pair can be seen sizing each other up in what started as a fairly tame opening round.

However, Mua Boy lands a couple of blows to Siekacz's face before she catches a breath and goes for a take-down, only for it to backfire in brutal fashion.

Mua Boy manages to flip Siekacz onto her back and pin her down. Although she attempts to retaliate with several punches to the male fighter's head, he responds by putting his knee on her torso and delivering a series of blows to her face.

It's not pretty to watch at all.

The beating was so bad that the ref was forced to intervene and award the win to Mua Boy.

And just this past week, we saw a 75-year-old pensioner and his 18-year-old grandson jumping in the cage with a 28-year-old woman.
