Jannik Sinner is an Italian professional tennis player, currently ranked No. 9 in the world by the Association of Tennis Professionals
Sinner was born on 16 August 2001 in Sesto, northern Italy but spent his teenage years in Bordighera to train under Riccardo Piatti and Massimo Sartori.
At 17, the tennis player rose to fame by earning his first ATP Challenger title in February 2019, making him the first person born in 2001 and the youngest Italian to ever reach this level.
