John Fury Offers To Fight Dillian Whyte's Dad Or Anyone In London Until Sunday

Things got heated between both camps during the press conference this week

John Fury has offered to fight Dillian Whyte's dad 'or anyone in London' until this weekend. Have a listen to what he had to say below:

With his son and world heavyweight champion Tyson set to get in the ring with Dillian on Saturday night (23 April), John was asked about a scuffle that broke out during the pre-fight press conference.

As Tyson and Dillian posed for their 'face off', things got a little heated between John and the opposing team, with a bit of pushing and shoving, and menacing looks thrown about.

Well, when asked about the incident, John told iFL TV that it was something of nothing, he was just standing his ground.

And he said that if anyone fancies their chances against him, whether it's Dillian's team or anyone else, they're welcome to give it a go.

He told the channel: "I run 30 miles a week, I punch that bag every day. I'm capable of looking after myself.

"Anyone who thinks I'm a pushover, come and try it. I'm in London, I'll shy away from nobody. Come and try it.

"If Whyte wants me to fight his dad, no problem. If they want it, come for the weigh in and have it.

"Anybody in London, I'm here till Sunday. Let's get at it. Enough of the s**t talk.

"If they want me in the ring, it's £1 million. In a car park, it's free."

Speaking about the incident that sparked the disagreement during the presser, Tyson told TalkSport: "People want a big ruckus at press conferences, people want the screaming and shouting and punching.

"But listen, let the two boxers do a fight and enjoy it.

"It’s not for the two entourages to get involved or anything like that. I have to be professional and say, 'Step back, let me and him do what we’ve got to do'.

"We’re here to do a job, we’re both professionals and we’re both here being paid to do a job. We don’t need to scream and shout.”

He added: "Sometimes you have to be a bit diplomatic. Both teams were up on the stage so it was up to me to calm it all down and sort it out.

"Both men are getting paid to do a fight, why do it for free three days before? There would be no point paying to see it. Let’s save it all for the night and not all end up in a police van."
