As well as her enormous sporting successes, Jabeur is making huge strides off the court by breaking records as an Arab and African female tennis player.
When she was just a teenager, Jabeur won the Junior French Open and became the first Arab to do this since 1964.

On their Twitter account, Wimbledon stated that Jabeur had “created history” at this year’s tournament.
In her runner-up speech at Wimbledon, the crowd erupted when Jabeur mentioned her fellow Tunisians.
She said, “I’m really happy that I’m trying to inspire many generations from my country. I hope they’re listening”.
