With New South Wales and Queensland both having claimed a win each earlier in June, things are ramping up for the third and final State of Origin match.
The State of Origin series is one of Australia’s biggest and fiercest sporting events, boasting rugby league’s greatest rivalry of the NSW Blues versus the QLD Maroons.
Last year, New South Wales claimed a 2-3 victory against Queensland.

The second match was their biggest victory in State of Origin history, defeating Queensland 50-6.
However, Queensland have had the most luck in the long run, winning 22 of the 40 series compared to New South Wales’ 16, with two draws.
When is Game 3?

The venue’s gates will open at 5:15, allowing attendees to filter in for a 5:45 preliminary game between the Queensland Schoolgirls and New South Wales Schoolgirls.
Pre-game entertainment begins at 7:35, which will hopefully get people excited for the main event at 8:00pm.
Where is Game 3?
Game 3 of the 2022 State of Origin series will be held at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane’s biggest sporting stadium.

Boasting 7.42 hectares of land and 52,500 of seat capacity, Suncorp Stadium certainly seems well-equipped for the hefty task of hosting the final State of Origin game.
What are the odds?
As of July 1, the odds are in New South Wales’ favour at 1.65 compared to 2.25, according to Ladbrokes.
No doubt the most recent New South Wales win is helping their odds in the betting market, but only time will tell who emerges as the victor.
