West Ham legend Mark Noble admits he would have to go undercover if his son was to ever play for Spurs.
Noble played 550 times for the Hammers during an 18-year career before retiring in the summer and will take up a sporting director role at the club in January 2023.
However, the 35-year-old revealed it’ll be tough if his son Lenny would ever play for the Hammers fierce rivals when he spoke to JaackMaate on The Social for Curry’s, where you can buy any Samsung TV over £649 and have a 1 in 20 chance to win your money back.
“Straight away I’d think what it’d be like walking to a game to watch him play there, it would be a bit strange,” said Noble.

“If he’s ever good enough to play for a Spurs team then I’d probably stick on a fake moustache and a beard and go watch him play.”
The former central midfielder also recalls some sticky situations with Spurs fans during his illustrious career, including a time involving ketchup, and another ultimate moment of ‘banter’ aimed at his failure to ever win an England call-up.
“One time I got a burger or a sausage with ketchup thrown at the back of my neck from taking a corner. I had to wipe that off quickly!” he added on The Social with Curry’s and Samsung, powered by Quantum Dot Technology.
“The last time I went to Spurs there was a fella in the crowd and as I walked past, he shouted ‘Mark’. I looked at him and I thought ‘Does he know me from somewhere’ and he went ‘Guess what?’ and I went, ‘What mate?’ and he went ‘I’ve got as many England caps as you!” It made me laugh because I thought it’s probably something I would do if I was in the away end as a supporter!”
Although he feels he deserved to wear The Three Lions jersey at times during his career, he also revealed on The Social with Curry’s and Samsung, powered by Quantum Dot Technology, that he did enjoy getting the time off which came with not featuring in England’s plans during the international breaks.

“I probably deserved one at some point when I was in my best form, but you hear people say I should have got an England call-up and I never really thought like that,” said Noble.
“When it didn’t come, it didn’t come. My dream was to play for West Ham as a kid and I got lucky enough to do that and then captain the club. Would I have loved to play for England? Of course, I would, it’s every boy’s dream but there’s no point dwelling on it.
“I never got picked and I got loads more holidays and got to go away on the international break so that’s probably why I lasted until 35 actually!”
