A former model who reportedly began a 'romance' with Britain’s most violent prisoner Charles Bronson has called for his release.
Bronson has spent nearly 50 years behind bars, with the notorious inmate appearing before a public parole board this week as he makes his latest bid for freedom.

During the nineties and Noughties, Fernandez appeared in countless ‘lads mags’ including FHM and even Maxim’s Little Black Book.
Now an actor and presenter, the former model has been pleading for Bronson’s release after she reportedly began a relationship with the HMP Woodhill inmate in 2020.
While she never confirmed the romance herself, Bronson has spoken about their rumoured split, saying they separated after realising ‘romance and prison don’t mix’.

Despite this, Fernandez has been a regular fixture at Bronson's parole hearing.
She even wore ‘free Charles Salvador’ t-shirt, which gave a nod to the prisoner’s new name which supposedly translates as ‘man of peace’.
Speaking to the Mirror outside the Royal Courts of Justice, she said: "I’ve been advised not really to say anything.

“I just think he’s done really well and it’s time that he got out."
During a previous interview on Steve Wraith’s YouTube channel, she also said that the Bronson had more than ‘served his time’ and complained that other dangerous criminals, such as killer Colin Pitchfork, had been released.
“At the end of the day no one is doubting that Charlie has done some things in the past, but he’s served his time and more,” she told the podcaster.

She continued: “He’s never murdered anyone, he’s never committed a sex offence and he’s a reformed character. He’s nearly 70 and he deserves to be freed.”
The former model also made some surprising claims about the 70-year-old criminal, saying that he had ‘humble wishes’ and just wanted to have ‘fish and chips on the beach’.
Fernandez said that Bronson was a ‘reformed man’, who loved electronic music star Moby and had ‘endless talents’ as she referred to his impressive artwork.
Annoyed by the lack of movement on the case, she added: “If someone like Colin Pitchfork is allowed to be freed then there’s no sense in it. It’s a disgrace.”

The pair first began their rumoured romance in 2020, with Fernandez reaching out after seeing Tom Hardy portray Bronson in a biopic about his life.
It was during the Covid lockdown and the former model said she felt that Bronson’s mental health would be suffering are being confined for so long.
As they exchanged letters, an alleged romance began and she was even granted access to visit him in HMP Woodhill.
After they separated, Bronson wrote from prison: “I’m no longer with Gemma. We split. Romance and prison don’t mix. It’s two different worlds. I believe in freeing ones you love.”
