A chilling new documentary has claimed that Rolf Harris assaulted one of his victims in a taxi.
Shockingly, his young victim had been hired to help the TV personality after seeing a poster on her school notice board.
Just over 45 years later, Karen Gardner has finally been able to tell her story in the new ITV docuseries Rolf Harris: Hiding In Plain Sight.

At the time of the alleged assault, she had been just 16 years old and had been eager to join the activities surrounding the upcoming Star Games.
The nostalgic show was a sports day-style tournament, with various celeb teams taking part in athletic games.
Having seen a notice about the programme at school, Gardner signed up to be and was tasked with assisting Harris with his kit throughout filming.
“I loved that sort of thing, so I signed up for it straight away,” recalled Gardner.

For the first couple of hours, the Aussie star had been ‘charming’ and had ‘very chatty’, even paying the then-16-year-old compliments.
That would soon change, though.
“You found yourself thinking ‘oh yeah, that’s what Harris is like’," she recalled, adding: “I didn’t see any signs of what was to come. Nothing.”

Gardner would go on to be assaulted three times in just 35 minutes 'in plain sight'.
She told filmmakers: “It was horrible because you’re surrounded by people and he had a method of operating.”
Harris hugged Gardner and used the opportunity to allegedly commit the assault.
“Your blood turns to concrete, you can’t believe this is happening,” she said, pointedly remarking: “I had no doubt what was happening. My period was due and my breasts were tender and I had no doubt what he’d done was deliberate.

"He did that twice in the space of 25 minutes.”
Gardner said the final assault took place in a taxi, where she tried to fight back.
Now in her sixties, she still finds it hard to speak about the incident and was overcome with emotion during the first episode.

“I had to get in the back seat of the car and Rolf Harris got in beside me and assaulted me again,” she said, revealing that she’d gained enough courage to tell him to ‘f**k off’.
However, Harris had a chilling response saying that Gardner was ‘irresistible’ to him.
The TV personality was later acquitted of the assault after a jury could not reach a verdict.
Rolf Harris: Hiding In Plain Sight is available to stream on ITVX.
