'Australia's most tattooed woman' reveals insane amount of money her extreme body modifications actually cost

A woman in Australia who has the most tattoos ever, has explained just how much she spent on her modification.

Australian woman Amber Luke has 98 percent of her body covered in tattoos, and has said she had 'no regrets' over getting inked so much.

She even went blind for three weeks, after getting her eyeballs tattooed- the same procedure which another woman copied and also suffered loss of sight.

When the first procedure didn’t give her the result she wanted, Luke went under the needle again to die her eyes blue and black.

"For me, it was about taking back what’s mine and was supposed to be mine in the first place," Luke told What'sTheJam.

"I felt robbed and like I didn’t deserve a proper procedure. But I do deserve to have my moment, where I open my eyes and see true beauty.

"I nearly cried of happiness when I saw them this time and that’s exactly how it should’ve been originally. It’s something I can appreciate for the rest of my life now."

Luke first began getting inked at just 16 years old, and since then, her love of modifying her skin skyrocketed.

The 30-year-old is now known as 'Australia's most tattooed woman' thanks to her designs.

As you can imagine, she’s spent quite a lot of money transforming her body.

But just how much did she end up splurging?

In a conversation with Alex Milovanov on Instagram, Luke said it cost her £177,000 in total to get her desired look.

But that doesn’t include her cosmetic procedures and mods like getting her tongue split, dermal piercings, and horns in her skull.

As for what she’s spent in total, the Daily Mail says she's cashed out upwards of £184,400 on her appearance, earning her the nickname 'Dragon Girl'.

But it’s not been without its setbacks.

For instance, Luke previously said that it has been hard to find work with her tattoos.

Speaking to Brisbane radio show Robin, Terry & Kip, the model said: "I'm not going to sugar coat it, it has limited my [employment] options but that's okay.

"Because the way I see it is, I don't want to work for a company that's shallow-minded [and can't] look past my image.

"They won't look at my work ethic, they won't look at my morals or my values or what I have to bring to the table."

She went on to say how people feel about her looks.

"Everyone has their own opinions of what beauty is," she said.

"You see these cultures [where people] stretch their necks, their ears, their lips. But at the end of the day, we all are entitled to our opinion and that's okay.

"But, what gets to me is when someone expresses their opinion to me in public and comes up to me and says, 'Oh, you're ugly', or, 'You've ruined yourself'.

"It's very distressing to know that people have that strong opinion and they can just voice it without any repercussions."

But she likes how she looks, and that’s all that matters.
