A man has had to tell people that his wife is still alive after the couple was trolled by those who tried to spread rumours that she'd died.
26-year-old Quran McCain and his wife Cheryl McGregor, 64, got married a few years ago and gained a large following on TikTok in part due to the age difference in their marriage.
They tied the knot on 3 September, 2021, and have since announced that they are expecting a baby via surrogate.

The baby is Quran's first child and Cheryl's seventh, while the 64-year-old is also a grandmother to many more children.
They've said that part of the reason they keep posting online and maintain an active presence is to challenge some misconceptions about their relationship.
However, Quran has had to hit back at a pretty big misconception as thanks to the efforts of some internet trolls there are people who thought that Cheryl had died.

It turns out that each time it's her birthday some people try to spread the rumour that she was dead, and it seems like her husband has had quite enough of this.
He took to TikTok to show that she was still very much alive.
Quran said: "I don't know why y'all keep making these posts every year when it's my wife's birthday that she died.
"That s**t ain't funny, it ain't funny at all, she's living right here, it's her birthday she finna get glammed up."

As Quran was saying this, he indicated Cheryl in the background as she waved to the camera.
"That s**t y'all got going on, y'all ain't gonna ruin her f**king day. Y'all trying to and we not gonna let that happen," he said, before letting Cheryl deliver a message of her own.
She told the couple's TikTok fans that she was 'pretty much alive' and enjoying her birthday before saying 'sorry to disappoint you' to the trolls who were spreading rumours about her death.

With Quran back on camera, he said: "Y'all got the wrong one, stop trying to put somebody in the grave before it's even her time."

"I'm glad we've got tough skin now because at one point that would have hurt us," the 26-year-old said.
"Now we don't even give a f**k."
Cheryl added a 'we sure don't' to the message before the video cut to her getting her makeup done for her birthday.
Many in the comments also lambasted those spreading the false rumours, calling it 'rude' and 'mean'.
