Julia Ann is one of the most beloved adult film stars of all time, but she recently opened up on a huge change she implemented in her career.
The star launched her career more than 30 years ago as part of the famous stripping duo, 'Blondage,' with Janine Lindemulder and has since been inducted into the Brazzer's Hall of Fame.
Last year, she discussed why she no longer films scenes with men during an appearance on the Holly Randall Unfiltered podcast and the reason is kind of sad.

The decision to only film with female colleagues happened shortly after the 53-year-old got married, but this did not influence her decision.
"As a woman who was getting older and one who hates the gym, I was finding that I couldn't control where my fat was going in a scene with guys." she said.
"This is my reality and no bulls**t.

"When I have sex with a girl, I can position myself, I can work it a certain way, I can be a little bit more, 'Oh, how you doing today.'
"But when a guy's behind you, it's just [doink doink doink] and stuff is just happening and I can feel it happening."
Julia Ann also admitted that she's become 'insecure' about her aging body, something podcast host and fellow veteran porn star Holly could relate to.

She said: "And especially with more seasoned guys, they will move you around into whatever position you want, to open you up on camera - that's great when you're thin and little and petite and look good from every angle."
To which Julia replied: "Yeah and after menopause, your body moves separate from itself."
During the episode, they also discussed dating people who are not in the porn industry, and how other people can be confused by their relationships.
"They like to cut people like that, so instead of saying like the guy literally doesn't care, they're like, oh that guys some sort of sad cuck." Julia said.

"And I'm like if that's what it takes for you to feel better about the fact that you couldn't handle that, then okay, call that person names but it could also be the fact that that person doesn't care."
Julia Ann isn't the only adult film actress to stop performing with male costars.
Speaking on a 2021 episode of Jordyn Jones' What They Don't Tell You podcast, Riley Reid explained how she came to that decision.

"It was a choice I made on my own," she said.
"But I made that choice because I was lonely and I wanted love and affection and stuff and I was like, 'I'm not gonna be able to find this while I'm performing.'"
