The lad who ‘couldn’t afford a flight to Ibiza’ has begun his walk there, but doesn’t have long to do it.
Earlier this morning (12 April), Henry Moores set out on his mission to get from Manchester to the party hotspot.
A plasterer by day, the 21-year-old is going to have to walk roughly a marathon a day (26 miles) in order to get to Ibiza on time. He’s hoping to be at Lineker’s bar on 16 June two hours before England’s first Euros match kicks off at 8pm.

So yeah, with over 1000 miles ahead and just over 60 days to do it in, it’s fair to say the Macclesfield lad’s got quite the challenge ahead of him.
In a bid to make that challenge a little smoother, he previously messaged O Beach Ibiza owner Wayne Lineker and surprisingly, he responded.
The Ibiza king has even joined Henry for the beginning of the walk today and also got AU Vodka involved to cover his expenses and sort out his hotels along the way.

In the very early hours of his mega walk today, Henry told LADbible he’s ‘about 6km in’ and his ‘legs are hurting’ already.
With a whopping walk ahead of him to the party island, let’s hope he figures out where he’s going as he added to us: “I’m literally just winging it, thank god for Google Maps. Hoping not to end up in Edinburgh.”
Originally from Macclesfield, the lad previously explained that he's taking on the gruelling challenge, simply because 'he's never been to Ibiza and can't afford a flight'.

Henry claimed a number of his friends and family have already booked holidays to meet him out there, piling the pressure on him to finish within the set timeframe of two months.
He went on: "I thought I could walk to Ibiza and get a holiday out of it while raising money for charity and meeting Wayne Lineker."
His planned Manchester to Ibiza walk will be raising money for the Tony Hudgell foundation with over 100 people already donating to his JustGiving page.

Already feeling the effects of a few kilometres this morning, Henry isn’t worried about being too tired to live Ibiza life to the full if he eventually makes it.
"I will definitely have enough energy when I get there because everything goes out the window when you finish something like that,” he said.
"All the fatigue and everything gets behind you, for at least one night I can put it all behind me."
Henry previously raised roughly £20,000 for charity when he walked 500 miles to Paris in October and November last year. But with several hundred more miles added on this time, the lad’s in for an absolute mission.

Good luck Henry!
