YouTuber Noel Phillips took the longest domestic flight in Britain; it's an almost 900-mile trek.
Flying out from Newquay, Cornwall, the content creator took viewers on the longest domestic flight and, honestly, you can get to Greece quicker, and with better weather.
Still, if you love flying, or don't have a passport sorted, you'll be a fan of the lengthy flight operated by Logan Air.
The extraordinarily long domestic flight is pretty much a straight line from Cornwall to the northern tip of the UK – Sumburgh on the Shetland Islands.

As if Phillips' journey couldn't get any longer, his flight was delayed by about two hours. He got a pasty as compensation, which is the most Cornwall thing we've ever heard.
The exciting flight left on a grey day in the UK and landed, you guessed it, on a grey evening in the UK.
There are plenty of stops along the way, as the flight is so long the plane has to 'refuel twice' just to manage the journey.
The first leg of the flight takes passengers up to Manchester and then up to Aberdeen, before landing finally in Sumburgh.

Most people get off at Aberdeen but some carry on for the entire journey.
As Phillips notes, there are 'some nice views out of the window', so you shouldn't get too bored. And, to make the journey even better he's given a cup of tea and a Tunnocks caramel wafer for the flight.
The content creator also has a fair amount of legroom and there are a lot of empty seats, in case you wanted to move around every so often.

However, Phillips did say he got a 'numb bum' after sitting for such a long time, which is to be expected.
At least the plane is quiet, though, as Phillips notes: "The ATR 72-600 is so quiet for a turboprop plane, I mean it is, obviously, you can hear the propellers but it's no more noisy than like a jet aircraft that you get on the same sort of route. It might even be a bit quieter."
A few more cups of tea and caramel wafers later, Phillips lands after having a 'great time'.

Viewers were having a great time too, with plenty of people weighing in on the wholesome journey.
One user said: "This was a fun heartwarming video. I’m a Brit now living out in Arizona but I return home frequently and whenever I land back in Manchester’s T3 there is a massive Loganair advertisement and I’ve always wondered what it’s like to fly between Manchester and Scotland."
While another added: "Looking forward to trying an adventure like this."
So, if you've got five to seven hours to spare (depending on delays) you too can take the longest domestic flight in the UK.
