Being lucky enough to have a close relationship with a parent is an amazing thing.
But even if you tell them everything and spend your free time with them, you might draw the line at showering together.
And yet, that was the norm for this 55-year-old mum and her 19-year-old daughter.

Reality TV stars Mary and Brittani made the unusual admission on the TLC show sMothered a few years ago, as viewers were shocked by the no-boundaries parenting feature.
A clip showed the mother-daughter duo in Florida, US, as Brittani could be seen showering as her mum opens the door, saying: “Move over honey.”
The pair reckoned it helped them be closer than ever, with Mary explaining: “I have been taking showers and helping Brittani since she was five.”

This idea of helping her daughter wash was proven in the clip, as the no-boundaries mum starts washing the teen’s back and massaging shampoo into her hair.
“You need to tan or something, honey. You're so white,” Mary tells her.
“I love her, and I don't see anything wrong with it. I don't believe I set out to have a relationship this close to Brittani, it's something that was supposed to be," the mum explained, hitting back at those who think their no-boundaries relationship is a little unusual.
She also explained to the New York Post that she started showering with Brittany because she was having panic attacks. They suspected these may have been brought on by hot water.

“That’s kind of how I started getting in the shower with her, just to comfort her because she would freak out,” Mary said. “That grew into an every-other-day thing. When she was smaller, it was every day.”
On the show, Brittani also defended the pair’s washing routine.
“When my mom does simple things like washing my hair or my body, it makes me feel comforted,” she explained.

"Plus, I'm only 19, I haven't moved away. If that was the case, she would probably die from separation anxiety."
Mary sees no problem with the pair showering together, claiming it was the ‘best way’ to start their day.
She added: “I’m just a doting mum! I don't believe I set out to have a relationship this close to Brittani, it's something that was supposed to be.”
I mean each to their own. To be honest, I think I’d have a problem with my mum telling me I need to get my tan on and calling me pale, let alone the lack of personal space.
