Just because 2,000 naked people are out at sea, do not assume that there aren't any rules.
Passengers are not randomly getting off with each other and there are times when people on board must be fully clothed.
With so many people in one space, hygiene is still important, and cruise liners will not take any risks in regard to passenger safety. That being said, one man has taken to Reddit to lift the lid on his experience on the Bare Necessities Tour and Travel cruise - and the one rule everyone knew.

His unique trip, organised by the Texas-based company, set off from Tampa, Florida, and headed for Mexico and Honduras, costing around $2,500 (£1,965) per person, with a total of seven days at sea.
On their website though, Bare Necessities has shared the nine important rules all passengers must follow.
Rule #1
When the ship is at sea or anchored in a port, passengers can be nude, unless told otherwise.

But when the ship is docked alongside in port, all passengers must be dressed throughout the vessel.
This includes on balconies and 'until the ship leaves port and an announcement is made that nudity is again permissible'.
Rule #2
"The self-serve buffet is a clothes-free area. Clothing is required for all meals taken in the dining rooms," Bare Necessities explained.

"Casual attire is fine in all of these venues. Bathrobes are not permitted in the dining room.
"When in doubt as to what is appropriate attire, simply confirm that breasts, bottoms and genitalia are fully covered by clothing that is not considered to be fetish-wear or lingerie."
Rule #3
Lingerie, fetish-wear, and 'excessive genital jewellery' are not allowed on board.
Rule #4
Passengers must sit on a towel 'at all times while nude, in a G-string, thong, or any time you are bare-bottomed.

Bare Necessities said towels are available and easily accessible throughout the ship.
Rule #5
The cruise liner stresses: "No photographs, videos or electronic images of any person may be taken without the express consent of that individual.
"'No Photo Zones' around the pools or in dance venues must be followed to avoid confiscation of photo capturing devices."

The passenger explained: "I was much less worried here than I have been at nude beaches. Almost no one had phones with them outside their cabin. There were many signs posted. There were a lot of staff from the charter company whose job it was to enforce good naturist etiquette.
"And I've spent time online researching nudism and I've never seen a single online photograph from the cruise except for the group shots that people voluntarily pose for."
Rule #6
The US-based company stresses that they will not tolerate any 'overt sexual activity'.
"Fondling or inappropriate touching of personal body parts or those of someone else, overt sexual activity or any solicitation for sexual acts is strictly prohibited," they added.
Rule #7
Being in the nude at the wrong time could land you in trouble.
"Displaying yourself nude in front of other ships in port or while port authorities are on board the vessel for clearance is strictly prohibited," the cruise liner said,
Rule #8
"Dangerous or rude behaviour will not be tolerated at any time," they said, which you'd think is a given.
Rule #9
Passengers with illegal substances on board will feel the full force of the law.
