When people aged between 70 and 90 were asked what they think is the most important thing in life, most seemed to be in agreement.
The question can make you think of a variety of things, depending on what you consider to be significant in your everyday life.
From people to pets to material possessions, everyone has different things which they think are most important.

TikTok creator Yaribrachi spoke to people in a video series about 'what's most important in life' as well as things they regret.
He approached people aged between 70 and 90, and many revealed that, having had more time to reflect on their lives, they'd come to an easy conclusion.
Their answers were all pretty much the same and they urged the younger generation to place less importance on money and material items, as they will one day hold no significance.

Each person Yair approached agreed that family is the most important thing in life, with some reflecting on losing loved ones and how this impacted them.
One 70-year-old woman said: "Family - don't take it for granted. If you have family, embrace them. If you have disagreements, work it out. Because, at the end of the day, family is family and nothing can replace it."
Another pair of 70-year-olds also agreed: “I think having friends, family, keeping them close – your real treasures are breathing people, not things. The memories you make, those are the most important things.

“And before, when you’re young, the only thing that drove you is making more money. You realise it’s not that. The things that mean the most to me never cost me a penny.”
They also looked back on how important money had felt in their younger years, but as they grew older, they realised it held no importance in their lives in comparison to their loved ones.
A 79-year-old responded: “Probably money. Even though it matters, makes it easier, but it doesn’t guarantee joy.”

And a 73-year-old said the same: “Money. It was always about making money and having money. As long as you have enough to eat, keep a roof over your head, you’re good."
A 70-year-old woman added: "Material things. When we were young, we thought we had to have everything, but one day to another you could lose everything."
Plus, an 83-year-old added: “When I was younger, life was all about what I wanted to be and it was all based around money.
"But as you get older, you start realising life’s not all about you. Life goes by too quick.”
