A private investigator has spoken about the 'sudden' change in behaviour which could be a sign that your partner is cheating.
Checking whether someone is cheating on their other half is a key part of a private investigator's job as that's the focus of many cases people task them with.
As such they know the signs to be on the lookout for, including the main places people find to cheat on their partners.

In case you were wondering, it's very often the car, and, according to PI Raymond Ranno, if a man is suddenly taking his car to be washed in the middle of the day it's very possible that once he's finished he'll be picking up the person he's cheating with.
Other private investigators have spoken plenty about the signs you'd need to be on the lookout for and how a partner might potentially hide evidence of their cheating.
Among them is Daniel Anderson, and according to Birmingham Live, he's spoken about a 'sudden' change which may set off alarm bells over a possible problem in the relationship.

He said that men and women regularly hired him to see if their partner was cheating, though he was contracted by women more often, and that he tells his clients to 'hope for the best and prepare for the worst'.
The private investigator said that 'nine times out of 10' if someone is contacting him over fears that their relationship is being marred by cheating, there's a 'valid reason' for those worries.
The standard signs to be on the lookout for tend to centre on your partner being very secretive with their phone, a change in the intimacy levels of the relationship, changing plans at the last minute or heading straight for the shower the instant they get back home.
As for this 'very sudden' sign that you may wish to be on the lookout for, the private investigator said that if they start making a new activity part of their routine and it becomes repetitive 'all of a sudden' that's a sign to look out for.

If the worst should come to pass, it may be a sign that this supposed new hobby or activity they go out to do on the regular is actually cover for doing the horizontal bop with the new apple of their eye.
In less delicate terms, they might be using that time to f**k someone else.
While having a partner with their own set of hobbies and interests is pretty healthy, if you're worried about your partner's behaviour already and they suddenly take up a new pursuit which they suddenly start repeating it could be a really bad sign.
