Mark Jeavons was buzzing for his four-night stay at the Pyramids and Sphinx View Hotel in Giza but when he showed up, he found a new addition to Ancient Egyptian History.

“The taxi driver was asking people on the street but no one had heard of it,” said the solo traveller. “I was totally stranded - it was not ideal.”
Quoted at a cheap and cheerful £40-per-night, the listing on Booking.com had shown him all sorts of photos featuring a nice rooftop area to view the famed Pyramids.
With plenty of positive reviews, Mark was set to pay in person at the hotel, supposedly found at Gamal abd al nasser st nazlet elsemman, 12557, Egypt.
