A primary school teacher has claimed he's 'turned Love Island down twice' because he cares too much about his classroom.
Now that Love Island season is in full swing, it's pretty much the talk of the internet over here in the UK.
And while appearing on the ITV dating show is a dream come true for many young singles out there, this certainly isn't the case for primary school teacher Kit Brown.

Brown, who has gained a huge following on TikTok thanks to his insightful videos showing what life is like for a primary school teacher, has claimed he has been approached by the show twice... but with little avail.
Posting a video on TikTok with the caption: "True story ... my bag will always be teaching children, what I love doing," Brown said in automated text: "POV you say no to going on Love Island twice because you care more about your career as a teacher."
The dedicated teacher's video has since amassed more than 1.3 million views and people have been loving his integrity and dedication to his job, with one user saying: "You’re making an amazing impact, that’s more important."

A second added: "Your career would be ruined if you appeared on that show. You are too good for that show."
Another said: A lot of respect for you! You’re doing a great job!" while someone pointed out: "Hugo should learn a few things or two."
For those not in the Love Island loop, PE teacher Hugo Hammond appeared on last year's series of the dating show, seemingly swapping his job as a teacher for the sun-soaked Majorca villa in the process.

While it's currently unknown if he's returned to teaching since his time on the show, a spokesperson for Blundell's School – were Hammond worked – told the Daily Star last year that he would not be returning to teach at the school following his Love Island exit.
"Mr Hammond was here on a very short placement during his teacher training in the spring term. He was not employed by the school," the spokesperson said.
Well, even though Hammond was only on a 'short placement' during his time as a teacher, this didn't stop his former students reacting in awe over his appearance on Love Island.
Posting on TikTok, 18-year-old Scarlet shared her hilarious reaction after seeing 'sir' on the dating show, writing: "Nothing like seeing your PE teacher at 9pm on ITV2."

The camera then flips from the screen, first showing Hammond and then the surprised faces of the student and her pals.
Scarlet shared the clip alongside the caption: "Hi Mr Hammond, we miss you."
