We've got some breaking news for you today, as it turns out you may very well have smelly earlobes.
According to Kerri Roma, anyway.
The Tiktoker, who goes by the handle @roma_0490, took to the platform a couple of days back to share this very important piece of information.

While riding passenger seat in her mum's car, she explains how she had just made the discovery of having stinky earlobes.
"I've just rubbed my ears and then sniffed my hand, and I know it's disgusting - I mean, it's not disgusting, it's not like I'm sticking my finger up my bum and sniffing it," she says.
"But I've just rubbed my ears and then sniffed it and it smells horrible."
And if that weren't gruesome enough, Kerri adds that she made her mum sniff it, and she was in agreement that it was far from pleasant.

To test out her theory, she got her mum to rub her own ears before giving her hands a whiff.
"Hers was smelly as well," she continues. "It wasn't as smelly as mine."
The TikToker finishes by asking: "What I want to know is do you have smelly ears? Because that's like death in my ear."

Hundreds of people have commented on the pongy problem, and it looks like she's not alone.
Many suggested it's because of her earrings, with one writing: "It's your piercings lol."
Another said, "Yip, my nose ring is the same, but can’t smell that until I turn it," while a third added: "Piercings cause it... constantly smell my septum!"
A fourth chimed in: "It's your ear piercings, it's all the sweat and oils mixes together getting foosty in your hole."

What a lovely way of putting it. Speaking of which, a number of commenters described it as 'ear cheese'. Sorry if you're eating right now.
Others were just relieved to know they weren't the only ones, including this person who said: "Thank god, I thought it was just me!"
"I clean them so much because I noticed this years ago but never asked anyone else thinking it was just me," said another.

And then there were those who offered up some advice to help Kerri take care of those stinky lobes.
"Need to be giving them a wee scrubadub," said one, with another adding, "I wash my ears on hair wash day, on other days I use rubbing alcohol and a cotton pad behind there."
So there you have it - why not give your earlobes a rub and you'll soon know if they're in need of a good scrub.
