Unless you've been living under a rock for the past couple of weeks, you're probably well aware of what the phrase 'hawk tuah' means.
If you've somehow missed the viral story - despite it being discussed on literally every corner of the internet - here's a super quick rundown.
Last month YouTube channel Tim and Dee TV shared a clip from a street interview which featured Tennessee native Haliey Welch answering the question: “What’s one move in bed that makes a man go crazy every time?”

Her response was short and and sweet, telling the interviewer: "You gotta give ’em that 'hawk tuah' and spit on that thing!"
The rest is simply stuff of internet legend, with the clip being viewed millions of times across various platforms.
An international manhunt for the woman in the video followed, with Welch finally revealing herself after various incorrect rumours about her identity had been doing the rounds online.

Now most of us would dread having our digital footprint attached to such a graphic phrase, however Welch has embraced her newfound fame as the Hawk Tuah Girl - even going as far as creating her own merch featuring the phrase and quitting her day job to embark on a career as a social media personality.
However, going from being unknown to being a globally recognised face also has it's drawbacks, with Welch revealing the uncomfortable side of viral fame in her tell-all interview with the Plan Bri Uncut podcast.
Explaining what happened in the days following her identity being discovered online, Welch revealed that internet sleuths began tracking down all of her social media accounts.

"The first thing they found me on was [photo editing app] VSCO," she explained, adding: "So I got rid of it really quick, because who the hell gets on VSCO?"
Welch then revealed that she had been inundated with 'disgusting' messages on the photo app, leading her to delete the account.
VSCO wasn't the only account which was targeted by curious and/or obsessive internet users either, with Welch revealing that she also received unwanted messages and requests on her private Snapchat account.
"I was like 'well they're not going to find my Snapchat'," she recalled. "Sure enough they did."
Despite having her accounts spammed by friend requests and 'creepy' messages sent her way, Welch has made sure that viral fame works in her favour - with the 21-year-old even living out her country star dream alongside singer Zach Bryan at a recent Nashville concert.
