A man has shared a bizarre trick that he says 'gets you high' just from pressing a few points on your thumbs.
TikTok user @alphavile21 shared a clip in which he explained how by rubbing your thumbnails together and then giving them a little squeeze, you'll experience a 'euphoric high feeling'.
In the clip, the man can be seen holding out his index finger with his thumb pointing up, he then explains: "Take the thumb of the right hand and sit it right on top of the third digit, facing forward.
"The thumbnail of the other hand is going to sit across on the thumbnail of the right hand like this. So, this one's going forward and this one is going opposite."
At this point he starts to rub his thumbnails against each other, adding: "I want you to stimulate these nails together like this. Keep stimulating - rub it back and forth, little circles, keep stimulating for 10 seconds."
He then takes the index finger of his right hand and places it on top of his stacked thumbs and 'squeezes the nail beds together'.
He says: "As you squeeze, within 20 seconds you'll start to pressure behind your eyes - keep holding if you don't - you're going to feel your brain start to wind down, you're going to feel, like, that euphoric high feeling."
Fellow TikTok users have given the little trick a go, with mixed results.
One person wrote: "Who did this and then came to the comments to see if it worked for anybody? It ain't Friday and ain't nobody getting high today."
Another wrote: "Who needs caffeine? I'm going to stimulate my thumbnails all day."
While a third person joked: "When you buy high from Wish."
Someone else said: "I didn't get high but I did feel calm and relaxed."
Yesterday, a fellow TikTok posted a clip that claims only people under the age of 25 can hear a certain sound.
According to the theory, oldies shouldn't be able to hear what is known as the 'mosquito tone' - or a sound of 17.4kHz.
Maylinn Storbakken, 32, and her 17-year-old niece Carmen Elisabeth Bakklund decided to test the theory out, posting the results to TikTok.
In the video, a voice says: "Only people under the age of 25 can hear this sound. Listen."
It then plays the high-pitched sound that only some people are able to hear.
