A mother has left a group of parents disgusted online with a shocking and possibly disgusting admission, depending on how you look at it.
Some people agreed with her, but the majority of people replied with disgust, questioning why she would share the information at all.
It's all to do with swimming pools, so this might be something to bear in mind before you jet off this summer.

Holiday season is here after all, and what I can say is try not to let this information stop you from doing what you want to do - or try to at least.
The mother unknowingly confessed to the action in an online parenting forum, as one user even said that she does do it 'in small amounts', with another saying that it 'wouldn't make much difference' if they did it too.
This battle of the opinions took place on Mumsnet.

Social media is a funny place, but forums are often even funnier and more unhinged than anything else on the internet.
Anyway, the user in question simply asked: "Am I being unreasonable to think that most people pee in the pool on holiday? Do you?"
Fair to say, several users replied in disgust at the mere idea and emphasised that they would never consider urinating in a swimming pool.

One user labelled it as 'disgusting', brutally calling her 'dirty and lazy'.
For all the insults you may see on Instagram or TikTok, there may not be anything more brutal than a group of mums judging someone.
Another parent commented: "Normal, toilet-trained adults do not pee in swimming pools."
A different user said this is why they are put off swimming, explaining: "I wish people wouldn’t be so disgusting and selfish. Hoping only a small minority do this. Well I wish no one would do it at all, never mind a small minority, but sadly that’s unrealistic."

One even claimed that she'd heard another mum telling her kids to 'just go' when they told her they needed to go, saying that 'there's not enough chlorine in the world' to make it acceptable.
But here's where things get tasty, as one user finally became the first to admit that she did pee in the pool, pretty often in fact.
"I do. Adult female for what it's worth."
A damning statement but a powerful admission with almost no shame... respect.

But the other mums did not agree, asking why she would do such a thing, and she replied saying: "Loads of other people do so why not?
"I can’t be a***d to get out, no one knows and I can," she admitted.
She said that she was 'shocked' that no-one else admitted it, while someone brutally commented: "I suppose at least you're honest about being an absolute minger."
But in came the cavalry, as several other users admitted to weeing in pools, saying 'that's what the chemicals are for', comparing pee to sweat, snot, etc.
Someone then explained in excruciating detail: "Pools are disgustingly filthy anyway so it probably wouldn't make much difference. Everyone's vaginal secretions, sweat, spit, snot and faeces from their bodies are already floating around in the water."
It may sound made up, but a study from the University of Alberta in Canada found that the average public swimming pool contains around 75 litres of urine. Yummy.
They tested for the amount of acesulfame potassium, an ingredient in sodas and baked goods, in public swimming pools and hot tubs.
It worked out to around 90 litres of urine being released by swimmers into a one million litre pool, which works out to a third of the size of an Olympic pool.
But the parents on Mumsnet are wrong when they say that it doesn't cause harm.
Urea, found in urine and sweat, reacts with chlorine to form disinfection byproducts, which can cause eye irritation and respiratory problems, according to some studies.
If you want to disregard all of that though, swimming legend Michael Phelps once admitted at the 2012 Olympics that he urinates in the pool: "I think everybody pees in the pool."
I guess if the greatest swimmer of all time does it...
