Alien expert analyses new footage of 'glowing UFOs' spotted in UK sky by dog walker

Harriet Ross and her husband David got more than they bargained for when they headed out on a late-night dog walk

An expert in extraterrestrials is currently analysing shocking new footage captured by a dog walker who reckons she spotted two 'glowing UFOs' dancing in the sky over Somerset.

Harriet Ross was out walking her cavalier spaniels with her husband David when their late evening stroll was suddenly interrupted by a pair of illuminations soaring above them.

She quickly fumbled for her phone to record the strange sight hovering above the village of Mells on 28 August, as the 54-year-old 'immediately' suspected it was something alien-related.

Take a look at what she captured here:

Harriet was having a wander with her husband when she spotted the two bright 'orange lights' gleaming in the sky, which seemed to be floating above a certain spot while parallel to one another.

In the clip, she can be heard asking David: "What was that?!"

Her dogs seemed to be barking an awful lot too, and you know what they say about animals sensing things we can't.

Harriet filmed the glinting objects in the sky at around 9.00pm, before they then suddenly appeared to fade into the airspace without making a sound.

She also managed to capture another video which showed one of the mysterious lights reappearing before travelling in an upwards trajectory - leaving the couple stunned.

The dog walker explained that even her usually cynical husband was 'quite convinced' that the alleged UFOs must have been from out of this world.

"We've never seen anything like that before," Harriet said. "I immediately thought it was a UFO at the time and my husband normally says it's something else, but he was quite convinced as well.

"We were walking our dogs through a field late at night, turned around and then saw what looked like a glowing orange light. As we watched, another one appeared, and they were quite big considering they were so far away.

"The lights faded in and gradually faded out and they were stationary above a large wooded area towards Frome.

"Just when you thought they'd gone, one would come back again."

She said her and David ended up stood there 'for ages' while observing the 'really beautiful' spectacle in the sky, before she later shared the footage to Facebook to see what other locals thought about the incident.

As I'm sure you can imagine, Harriet's online pals were more than happy to have it out with each other in the comment section as they argued over whether the video was evidence of aliens or not.

One wrote: "They look like UFOs to me."

Another local said: "If they were orange coloured, I have seen them at least three times over the years. And no they are definitely not flares!"

A third added: "Not flares in my opinion. Very cool video! Thanks for sharing."

Others suggested they could have simply been drones or flares.

However, Harriet reckons the supposed UFOs were much 'too silent' for this to be the explanation, while she also pointed out that they didn't appear to be man-made flying objects.

"My sister said it could be hot air balloons, but it was nothing like that, because it was silent," she explained.

"There were no flares or fireworks because we'd have seen some signs or heard some noise.

"Some people said it could be drones but I don't think so, and you could tell it wasn't a plane because it was lower than a plane and it was right near the horizon."

Hopefully, we might get to the bottom of the mystery which is currently gripping Mells soon anyway - because an alien expert from the US has offered to investigate the footage further for Harriet.

The cleaner explained that a man who researches strange occurrences such as these contacted her after she shared the video on social media, promising to go through the footage frame-by-frame.

"He was very excited and said he's seen the same kind of thing," Harriet continued.

She is now excitedly waiting to get an update on his progress and can't wait to hear what he thinks of the footage.
